In early 2023, Synergy embarked on a groundbreaking project aimed at unraveling the intricate socio-economic implications of cross-border trade and the oil industry in the pivotal regions of Basra and Anbar in Iraq, in a fruitful partnership with the esteemed Chatham House international affairs think tank.

Through the facilitation of focus group discussions, we endeavored to gain profound insights into the opportunities, challenges, and aspirations of the residents residing in these strategically significant regions.
